Abstract Art for Good
I make abstract paintings that speak to both the joys and challenges of making things. Lots of us begin creative pursuits with enthusiasm, only to lose momentum and eventually quit when we feel disappointed by our output.
These paintings represent my effort to reconcile parts of myself that want to create and parts of me that judge whatever I’m making as Not Good Enough. My goal is to inspire you to do the same in whatever creative endeavor you practice - or would like to.
In addition to helping myself and others to heal from creative blockages, I want to contribute to the fiscal health of non-profit arts organizations such as the RainShadow Chorale here in Port Townsend, WA. Arts organizations need increased financial stability to continue providing uplifting experiences for our community.
If you purchase one of my paintings, you may designate a non-profit arts organization of your choice to receive a portion of net proceeds. Please contact me if you would like to make a purchase.
